9/11 Newsreport By Azanjah Peterson & Regina Paaka

This week we have been creating a news report on 9/11. we needed to write a script on what we would say. We used information from our articles we wrote on 9/11 last week. I enjoyed filming this scene 7 times to try and get the right one. We filmed it on our chromebooks. We had one news reporter, one interviewee and one camera woman. Have you ever done this before?

Today we had Kaelyn's mum come to school to talk about her business. She is a sole trader she does everything her self. She makes the cakes and decorates the cakes and drops them off to customers. She has to do all the shopping and money. And she looks after two kids, so she works during the night. She makes 15 cakes a week.She uses facebook and tik tok to sale her cakes. To be a cake maker you need to learn maths and business studies. I want to be cake maker when I am older. Here is a photo of my sisers cake manaia

Channel Crossing Refugees: France to Great Britain

To day we learnt about Refugees crossing to Britain from France. They were crossing on little boats to get away from danger. There was 20 plus people on small boats. They were in trouble of the boat popping, falling in the water, drowning, the engine could break, they could freeze. It is scary to know that someone could of died. Refugees are different to migrants because they leave out of fear and have no choice but to escape danger. Did you know to be come a refugee you need visa? Do you know anything Refugees?
